The CBRNe and Counter-Terrorism Disaster Medicine Advanced Course
Jointly organized and co-certified by the San Marino CEMEC European Center for Disaster Medicine and the SCH Disaster Medicine Center
This training is designed to reflect a practical philosophy of disaster medicine education, incorporating the most up-to-date, peer-reviewed guidelines from the U.S. FEMA training system, the CEMEC European Center for Disaster Medicine, and the World Association for Disaster and Emergency Medicine (WADEM).
Target Audience:
Emergency management personnel, EMS professionals, firefighters, government officials, medical personnel (doctors, nurses, paramedics, etc.), law enforcement officers (e.g., police), military personnel, public health workers, public safety communications professionals, and public works employees.
Class Size:
Minimum 15 participants, maximum 40 participants for the 1-day in-person training.
Duration:
Wednesday, November 27th.
Fee: 200 EURO.
November Training Overview:
Online Canvas training (3 weeks) followed by a 1-day in-person practical training.
In-person training schedule:
November 27th (Wed) -> 9 AM to 5 PM.

Pre-test, course attendance, completion of online Canvas assignments, and post-test (score of 80 or above).
Completion of feedback survey.
[How to Complete the Course]
1. Register for the course by contacting SCH Disaster Medicine Center (SCHDMC) Administrator Jaehee Lee (Email: 20240008@schmc.ac.kr).
2. Complete the pre-test and Canvas training (Weeks 1-3).
3. Attend the 1-day in-person training.
4. Complete the post-test and survey.
200 EURO (for doctors, nurses, paramedics, and other disaster response professionals).
160 EURO ((20% discount for national disaster response public officials, including firefighters, police, and military personnel).
★ Public officials must present identification (e.g., government ID) to receive the discount.
Additional Benefits and Information
Graduates of the APCDM Disturbia Workshop (held in Seoul on November 25, 2024) are eligible to participate in the "CBRNe and Counter-Terrorism Disaster Medicine Advanced Course," which will take place on Wednesday, November 27, 2024, at Soonchunhyang University Bucheon Hospital.
APCDM Disturbia Workshop graduates will receive a 20% discount on the course fee in addition to eligibility for participation.
Certification Details:
Graduates of the "CBRNe and Counter-Terrorism Disaster Medicine Advanced Course" will receive a certificate co-issued by the CEMEC San Marino European Center for Disaster Medicine. This certificate is recognized not only in Korea but also across Europe, under the sponsorship of the European Council and the World Health Organization (WHO).
